11/14/2016 Kronick Welcomes New Associate Gabriel P. Herrera

Kronick is pleased to announce that Gabriel P. Herrera has joined the firm. He will be working in the firm’s Sacramento office and is a member of the Business Services group. He received his J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law in 2012 and his B.A. from the University of California, San Diego in 2009. Mr.


Kronick shareholder Constantine Baranoff has been appointed to the Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Technical Committee for the California Association for Local Economic Development (CALED). The TIF Technical Committee will educate CALED members and the public on Tax Increment Financing, including Enhanced Infrastructure Financing Districts and Community Revitalization and Investment Authorities which have been authorized by recent state legislation.

08/01/2016 Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Sacramento Hearing

On Thursday, July 30th, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) held a field hearing on debt collection in Sacramento, CA. The CFPB is an agency that supports consumer finance markets and enforcement. The hearing featured remarks from CFPB Director Richard Cordray, as well as testimony from consumer groups, industry representatives, and members of the public. Over the course of her career, June Coleman has developed a niche practice defending credit and collection professionals accused of violating state and federal consumer protection laws.

Servicing clients throughout California, firm experts will help emerging cannabis businesses navigate new state and local regulatory requirements.

Today, Kronick announced its new Cannabis Law practice group to support clients navigating the myriad issues that arise from operating in the cannabis industry. The practice will offer a multidisciplinary approach to counseling cannabis clients on matters related to regulatory law compliance, corporate transactions, state and local tax, employment law, energy and water rights.
