Maggie Stern Appointed to League of California Cities Public Safety Policy Committee

Kronick associate Maggie Stern has been appointed to the Public Safety Policy Committee for the League of California Cities. The Public Safety Policy Committee reviews both federal and state legislation and issues and makes recommendations to the League board of directors related to law enforcement, to fire and life safety policies including emergency communications, and to emergency services including ambulance and disaster preparedness. 

Ms. Stern represents and defends cities, counties and special districts in civil actions involving contract disputes, public agency cost recovery, tort defense, tax allocation disputes, construction, public works and code enforcement. She also advises municipal entities in general municipal law matters, including Brown Act and Public Records Act compliance, First Amendment issues, contracts and public safety.
